Privacy Policy

Overview

Fotty is a browser-based live sports companion. This policy describes what we store on your device and what may be sent to Fotty services when you use the web app.

Data on your device

Reminders, tracked teams, favorites, recent match sessions, preferences, and sign-in session data can be stored in your browser (local storage) until you clear site data or sign out.

Account sign-in

When PocketBase authentication is enabled, your email and password are sent to the Fotty API for verification. We do not store your password in the browser beyond what your device keeps for autofill.

Playback and live data

Match listings, stream metadata, and playback requests may pass through Fotty servers and third-party sport data providers. Stream URLs and provider details are operational and may change by source.

Notifications

Browser notifications, when enabled, are used for match reminders while Fotty is available. If Fotty adds additional push delivery, we will request consent before sending those notifications.

Your choices

You can clear site data, disable notifications, and stop tracking teams at any time from Settings and Team Alerts. Cloud accounts are currently paused on the web; local preferences stay on this device. Other data requests can go through the feedback page.

Updates

We may update this policy as Fotty improves and adds account-backed features. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
